I’m a freelance graphic designer, and I first got into digital scrapbooking because I thought I could make money at it. I never did make much money, but by the time I realized that I wasn’t, I was having too much fun doing it.
It’s a great creative outlet. I love playing in Photoshop, this is what I do for fun. I’ve worked with Photoshop since version 2.0 – for those of you that don’t know, that’s before layers! As soon as you deselected something, that was it. No multiple undos and no history either. It made for a lot of colorful language, let me tell you. I got into the habit of saving my files under a different name every time I made any change. My computer was filled with files with names like image1 – image2 – image389.
But I digress. I have a habit of doing that, sorry.
So where was I? Oh yeah, digital scrapbooking. A few years ago I set up a store online where I sold digital scrapbooking downloads. As I said, I didn’t make very much, but that’s ok – by the time I had the store running, I already knew it wasn’t going to make me rich. But keeping up with an online store is a bit of a hassle – sometimes I get busy with other work and don’t have time to update anything. So I decided to just get rid of the store and give the stuff away instead – after all, the freebie part of my store was extremely popular!
And chasing around to see if people are using the stuff commercially…well, I’m too lazy for that. So I figured why not just let people use it however they want and maybe someone will buy me a coffee once in awhile if they’re making any money from my downloads. So that’s the story with the blog – freebie downloads to anyone who wants to use them. I hope you’ll find them useful!

P.S. Sometimes I get mails from people asking for something to be customized for them. Usually it’s not a big deal, if I’m not busy and if it’s something simple. But I give away a lot of stuff and I put a lot of time and effort into this site, so I’m starting a new rule: if you want something customized, please make a small donation. I can’t do everything for free!
